Good Afternoon! As Julie mentions below, we had a great company meeting yesterday (7/5) and we've got great plans in place for all three Festival shows. It's going to be a great season!
From a technical perspective for Twelfth Night, we've received amazing support from JP and Greg at High Output. Not only have they assisted us in putting together a great lighting package, they've stepped up and have become a sponsor of the Freeport Shakespeare Festival. We truly appreciate the support from High Output and all our other corporate sponsors. (We also truly appreciate all the individual support that we've received.)
Moonlighting Production Services has assisted us in putting together a sound package and has also stepped up to assist in managing costs. Of course, the lighting and sound equipment will all be supported and protected from the elements with a roof provided by United Staging and Rigging.
Justin has been busy as our Master Carpenter building the wonderful set designed by Michael Reidy. The set is being built at Bates College and will be assemled at Discovery Park on July 31.
Travis, our Props Master has been busy collecting, building and fixing props. We don't ask where Travis has been getting some of the props, we're just happy they're exactly what Dennis (the Director) is looking for.
