Corporate Sponsorship Program
Freeport Shakespeare Festival is pleased to offer corporations the opportunity to enhance their presence in the community and offer their employees, clients and customers a wide variety of benefits and services. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by the Internal Revenue Service
The generosity of Maine's business community, major corporations and small businesses, ensures that the Freeport Shakespeare Festival will continue as a major component of Maine's evolving cultural landscape.
Corporate partnerships with Freeport Shakespeare Festival can be customized to maximize a company's goals for association, visibility, entertainment opportunities and civic support of the arts.
Over 2,500 enjoyed the 2010 inaugural production. An estimated 7,000 will see our expanded second season production in August 2011. The festival banners featuring our corporate sponsors will be seen by over 200,000, who will visit Discovery Park over the two-week festival period. Your sponsorship will be prominently displayed at Discovery Park, in the commemorative playbill, in all print and electronic communication, and in click-through promotions designed to drive traffic from our website to yours.
ALL Corporate Sponsors receive the following:
- Listing as corporate donor on website and in playbill corporate donor circle
- Your brand, logo or message on a festival banner at Discovery Park
- Your logo with links on FSF website and all email blasts
- Your logo on the backs of chairs provided with certain sponsor levels
- Your own marketing page on FSF website for discounts, coupons, promotions

- Playbill ad space - 1/3 page black and white
$1,000
- Opportunity to be a single performance sponsor
- Stage announcement at sponsored performance
- Display of your business branding at the single sponsored performance
- Playbill ad space 1/2 page, black and white
- Preferred chair placement for performances – up to four chairs at a single performance
$2,500
- All benefits of $1,000 level, with the following enhancements:
- Additional stage announcements in proportion to sponsorship level
- Logo on Route One Banner – 2 Weeks visibility for visitors entering and leaving Freeport by auto
- Sole branding use of a festival banner at Discovery Park
- Playbill full page, black and white advertisement in premium location
- Preferred chair placement for performances – up to four chairs at four performances
- Invitation to opening night cast party
$5,000
- All benefits of $2,500 level, with the following enhancements:
- Recognition opportunities for sponsoring specific actors and programs
- Playbill premium full page color advertisement
- Preferred chair placement for performances – up to four chairs at six performances
- Invitation to private dinner with director, actors and others
$7,500
- All benefits of $5,000 level, with the following enhancements:
- Underwriting and naming rights for educational, internship, and children's programs
- Playbill inside front or back cover – four color advertisement
- Preferred chair placement for performances – up to four chairs at all performances
$10,000 and over
- A specially tailored package to meet the needs of your business, including benefits at $7,500 level plus:
- Opportunity to be the entire season underwriter, with stage announcements at every show
- Playbill back cover – four color advertisement
- Preferred chair placement for performances – up to six chairs at all performances
Additional benefits other than those listed may be tailored to the needs of the individual sponsor.
