FSF in the Community

FSF Education

We are exploring the possibility of developing a student production of Twelfth Night to run concurrently with the mainstage production next summer. Student actors will engage in a 4-month session of weekly classes that will prepare them for working in a live production. Information about the program will be available on the website by mid-fall. Check back often for news about this prgram.

Highlights from our 2010 Outreach and Education Programs:

Viewpoints Training Workshop

20 local actors participated in a two-day workshop led by Janice O'Rourke.

Trailblazers

FSF teamed up with Freeport Recreation and Community Education to offer a three-week workshop on Shakespeare - students worked on acting, speaking and movement - plus pirate costumes!

Internships

Our 2010 intern company consisted of five local high school students who worked in stage management, directing, acting, lighting and sound. Our 2011 intern application will be available soon!

The Arts Community

FSF collaborated with Figures of Speech Theater and the Greater Freeport Community Chours to bring The Tempest to life.
