Shakespeare's Kids

Welcome to Shakespeare's Kids!

We are thrilled to announce that our company of young people will be presenting a one-hour version of A Midsummer Night's Dream this August.

The first two performances will be held at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens during their annual Fairy House Festival. Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th at 2:00 p.m. - there is an admission fee to the Gardens but the performances are FREE.

The company then moves to L.L.Bean Discovery Park for three performances Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday August 9, 10 and 11 at 4:00 p.m. These are FREE performances.

Director Bess Weldon, an affiliate artist at Portland Stage Company, has assembled a cast of 11 young people. We are so happy that our Shakespeare's Kids program has grown in one short year!
